Though I need to focus on my final project now, I care what is happening in the world: I care to understand and to get involved in any possible way. Thus, I will just share with you my understanding and reflections from the political broadcasts and articles. Let's start from the beginning:
Today's media focuses on how many people Israel kills and shapes a negative Israel's face.
It's interesting, however, that the causes for Israel's attacks are totally forgotten.
The essence is that it was Palestina which started the war against Israel, or more precisely, a teroristic alliance, formed from Iran, Siria, "Hezbollah" and "Hamas". Thus, the current Israel's actions are the responding attacks against his enemy.
Therefore, it is rather strange that media "forgets" terrible terroristic acts accomplished against Israel and especially its innocent civilians while focusing only on Israel's terroristic revenge acts which by mistake (unintendedly) involves civilian people. Of course, you do not know, but the actual Israel's policy is to eliminate the leaders of terroristic organisations acting against Israel. And even more, you probably never heard that Israel 8 times refused to kill "Hamas" leader Shihada because they didn't want to kill her daughter who was with him in the house. Finally when they thought he is alone, they bombed the house. But the daughter was there and the neighbouring houses were damaged, thus, 14 innocent people died together with "Hamas" leader who has done 52 operations against Israel and killed 220 civilian Israelites and only 16 warriors. But all this is disremembered. And only the world's condemnation of Israel's acts is clearly shaped and transmitted in media!!!!!!!

So I presented the beginning of the war and one Israel's answer, later the history repeats itself. Palestine revenges double for its leader, Israel again takes actions against its enemy and that is the way Israel's face is becoming more and more unhumanistic...
The essence of this vicious circle is that all the belligerents use the same principle: An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth + the "interest". This does not solve the conflict, on the contrary, it worsens the situation.
Israel is using the tactics of "cutting the head of terroristic organizations". This is the method they try to stop the actions of all the organization. Unfortunalately, it does not work.
Why? As Čekuolis explains, because the organizations are too big and organized, thus, they easily select other leaders and double revenge for the death of the previous ones.

Thus, after that short review we come to the theme of the title. Some authors already call the Israel's - Palestine's war the Third World War (WorldNetDaily, A. Spraunius - www.delfi.lt).
The others argue that the Third World war was the Cold war and the Fourth World War is about to be brought by the radical islamists.
What is different about the Third World War, if we assume that it already started, is that it is not grounded in economical or ideological conflicts as it used to be. It is grounded in culture and religion. Therefore, it can be called "Civilization war" (S. Huntington).
Actually, it is the Third World War as it involves West and East countries in the military and terroristic actions. It has started even before the famous "7.11" (A. Čekuolis, A. Spraunius).
And it represents the confrontation of the east and west cultures (the muslim autocracy against Christian democracy).
Palestine's aim and wish is to make all the Jewish dead.
Jewish people want to live. Jewish have done everything to prepare for the attacks: they have built chemical, biological and nuclear weapons, they have put antimaterials all over the country, which would reduce the impact of the biological or chemical attack against Israel, they are unsuccessfully trying to stop the terroristic organizations and their threats.
But as we see, there is no compromise. It is impossible. If the radical islamists aim for Israelites' death, no rational negotiation can be made.
WorldNetDaily, A. Spraunius and S. Huntington go beyond the activities and explain the rationale of East terroristic alliance: their strategic goal is to strike to the West and their values.
Thus, according to the politicians and civilization experts, the Third World War has started.
What can we do about it?
In my opinion, it's not an easy question and there might be no easy answer. But, I do know and feel that we as Christians can not be indifferent. It is our responsibility to understand the events and care for our brothers and sisters. The least (or should I say, the most?) what we can do is pray.
